How to Rent a Car Avoiding Under 25 Fee

The fee for those under 25 will be waived if you're renting from Surprise Suppliers on the Carla app. Enter your age before searching and make a reservation with Surprise Suppliers. The supplier will be disclosed after your booking and will be one of the major car rental companies (such as Hertz Rent a Car, Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental, Europcar). There will be no young renter’s fee at the counter with this waiver unique to Carla. Make sure you book a rental marked "under 25 fee waived" or "no under 25 fee."

I am not happy with this app. there was a lot of things that were not made understood until after they took my payment. and then after I made a payment they said I also owed for paying with a debit and that would be an extra on top of what I already paid. so making my experience not clear enough I wanted a refund but they did not deliver. I wrote to them twice and I also sent an email but no response. go figure. the money I could have got something else or saved it.

They got me a rental with a good daily rate. But they advertised being able to get a reduction or completely removethe young driver's fee for drivers between the ages of 20 & 24. It wasn't until the day that I showed up to get the vehicle that I found that piece of information out. At that point I had no time to shop around. I went back & found it amongst their small print. i think it's very SLEAZY & DIRTY that they would advertise that and not make it clear when that is not occuring.

Do NOT sign up. Once they take your card for subscription, even if you cancel within minutes due to prices or credit card hold rates, they will not refund. Also tried to call and cancel as soon as possible and the number said they were closed because of high call volume. The support that i emailed was unable to refund me anything (initial payment and subscription payment) and i was told it was a different department. Literally did not have thia account for more than an hour. Im out $125
