I am modifying my review some. The issue doesn't seem to be the app. It's the cloud server the app is connecting to. It may be blocking the new version of the app. What I did was bypass the cloud server and use the DDNS ( Dynamic DNS option ) . I then open a port on my router and connected directly to my NVR. It's actually faster to do this option instead.

Overall is working quite well except the playback mode. It is very difficult to select a time frame to playback other than 00:00. For some reason, it keeps on reverting back to 00:00. Is it a bug or someting I missed, I am not sure. It works with wifi but not mobile data. Tried chaning the phone settings but nothing helps. I am changing my rating from 4 starts to 2.

It works and is easy to connect to but it want hardly do playback even with a strong internet signal, has drained a month's worth of data in three days, and sucks the battery dry. So it defiantly needs some work done to it to make it great. And why do you need to manage my phone calls, freaking China trying to monitor everything. Piss off CCP. Will be uninstalling the app now, but I will check back in the future to see if permissions change.
