Please get rid of the automatic HDR on the regular camera setting or allow us to turn it off. It's awful. Nobody likes it. Look at the reviews here. We don't want any other tweaks or changes before this one. The Pro setting doesn't automatically apply HDR to the images, but it also doesn't take as nice point and shoot photos as the default mode. Just putting the option in the setting to turn HDR off would bump my review up to a 4/5

Hi M, sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, we don't have an HDR on/off capability. The imaging processing pipeline simply goes through our imaging engine. That said, can you please send us photos that you feel are awful to camera@motorola.com? We'd like take a look to see if we can improve it. Thanks.

Camera automatically edits photos. When I try to turn it off in settings it continues to edit the photo anyways. another problem I'm having is that the app refuses to open. I cleared the cache and storage and restarted it. It's still not working. After restarting the phone 20 times the camera app finally opened. Photos taken are still heavily edited even when I turned that feature off.

Over saturated pictures. Even after turning off the AI shot optimization any pictures taken with the normal photo or portrait options go through an automatic processing and end up over saturated and blindingly HD. It's horrible and I have done everything I can to change it. I even changed my Razr 2025's display to normal and not vivid in hopes that might fix it. I have to use the pro option just to get a normal picture. This has driven me crazy and I wanted to throw the phone against a wall.

Hi Valerie, sorry for the frustration. Could you share some sample photos? Also, can you share if all cameras/modes are affected, the lighting conditions, SW version, if Pro mode looks better, if you use auto/manual brightness, if it's just display brightness or also image quality. You can reply here or email us at camera@motorola.com. Thanks!
