User friendly and effective I was using a different calorie count app for quite awhile but recently switched to mfp. Loving the recipe functionality and the ability to scan barcodes.
Database needs improvement. (Addition: Getting intrusive ads nearly every time I log something now. You are becoming less and less likely to get any money from me. Will uninstall if no improvement.) If I'm going to start paying for Premium I need to see a big improvement in the nutritional info available. Stuff like potassium and sodium seldom included, so how can app possibly tell me which food was highest? Better verification of foods needed too, regular confusion of gm and mg amounts, completely throwing out nutrition info.)
For those who can't sign up If it keeps saying it can't process your registration at this time and you're a teenager, its probably because you need to be 18. It doesn't say so but that's why. I don't get why they restrict access to people under 18. Why can't younger people watch what they eat. What the heck.
Diabetics not well served Macro nutrient can only be viewed on a food by food basis. Free version formerly allowed view of carbs by meal or by day. This is critical for many diabetics to maintain or improe health. Current version only tracks calories by meal/day. Ubgrading is not a one time fee but a monthly subscription.
Can't make account I downloaded this app a couple days ago and wasn't able to sign up. I thought maybe it was just down for a day. Well I reinstalled it and it won't let me sign up again. Is there some reason for this? Maybe because it isn't incompatible with my tablet?
Great motivation I don't like weight watchers or slimming world they judge you if you put a lb on. That demotivate me. With this I'm never judged! And do lose weight
