I have been using this for tracking my calories and macros and it has been great. Super easy to enter in your foods. The recipe option needs improvement thpugh I found. I tried tracking my workouts in it too but it is not really possible as it only recognises cardio and there is no way of entering in your weight training. Having said that I would still highly recomend for keeping a track of your daily food intake and it is super easy to use.
This app makes it super simple to track calories in versus calories out. Its database of foods is pretty extensive, but its seamless syncing with fitbit is what makes it perfect for me. Area for improvement: recipe display. I often can't remember how many portions I divided a recipe into (or if I switch some ingredients). I'd like to be able to view that info after adding the recipe to my list. Also, new update makes it harder to add entries quickly, but easier to find them slowly, I suppose.
The best free fitness app available! A great app that makes it easy to log food & exercise. It works well with other fitness apps too. UA keeps adding functionality and updates. The articles aren't bad and cover a wide variety of fitness subjects. I have been using it for over 3 years and all my info is still there. The Fitness Challenges and social posting with friends helps out too.
I use this app serveral times a day. Great for keeping my lifestyle change in check. I have lost over 50lbs using this app when all other diets have failed me. I am totally dependent on itvnow. Love, love, love it. Since writing this review MFP will not sync with fitbit. It is 10 days since the last proper sync. I have emailed MFP but had no reply. I will update again when the sync works
I really like this app, but I have the premium version and I'd really like to have the ability to share my meals and recipes with friends. My husband and I are usually eating the same thing and it's typically one of my own recipes, so both of us having to enter everything is a bit annoying. Also, is like to be able to use my own food in my recipes but they don't come up when I'm searching to add. Otherwise, this app is really great, especially being able to customize daily percentages for keto.
Used another app for a stretch, FitnesPal is better so am back. My comment from earlier still stands-FitBit exchange of steps/calorie count and the negative function is odd. Explanation of how this works is not easy to understand. Need an example- Saw a better explnation but need to See an Example. For a superior app add in excercises workout by average 💓 rate.
It’s officially spring in San Francisco. Here at MyFitnessPal we decided there was no better way to celebrate than with a little spring cleaning in the app. We’ve been busy sweeping away bugs, polishing our performance, and giving our reliability a good dusting.
We hope you enjoy and happy tracking!
