I've been using this app for many, many years. I have always recommended it to friends due to it's ease of use. The ability to quickly scan foods to enter your calories was the biggest help. Unfortunately this is now a premium feature that cost $20/month (more than an monthly fitness program, I might add). Switched to cronometer which still offers this feature for free.

Used to be a good app. Now so many of the helpful features are hidden to those who pay for a subscription. I am not going there! No longer can scan items, can't share recipes only meals and much of the screen is ad space, more than the past. I get some ads, but to be greeted each use with a nearly full screen premium ad, no thank you. I am actively searching for a better app.

Hi Brian, we’re sorry you’re frustrated by the barcode news. As a reminder, there are lots of free ways for members to log and succeed with the app. Search by item name, log from history, quick-log just calories, and log from saved meals, foods & recipes.

I like the concept of the app. I had a monthly subscription but founded I wasn't using most of the features I paid for. So I change to the free version. It has been working just fine. But recently they have made changes and it has been freezing up and is not as user friendly as it was before. Today after another update I can't even log in and it says my email isn't correct.
