So the radio is nice It's a cheap rodeo and if I'm being honest dual isn't exactly the best brand they're not but they're good at making cheap decent stuff. The volume knob quit working after a week but I found this app and it works I can adjust the volume however when I turn the radio off or on using the app it opens Google maps. Hopefully there's a fix for this as it's not a deal breaker but definitely annoying! I'll up to five stars when fixed!

The app is mostly useless, functioning only as a remote control so you can use your phone to control your car stereo, when you shouldn't be using your phone while driving. Most importantly, it doesn't provide access to onscreen navigation on the stereo, which is the most common reason why people download it. Apparently it is not possible to do onscreen navigation, which is unfortunate for a 7" touchscreen stereo. The stereo has a navigation button but it does nothing, even with the app running.

At first I was having major issues. I couldn't get it to work. But with patience I finally did. What it is I had downloaded it and went into it and tried for weeks. Finally I deleted the app and downloaded it again. I noticed I had skip past some of the permissions. You must accept all the permissions in order to get best results. I didn't give it the location permission the first time I downloaded it. Once I reinstalled the app and accepted all permissions from the start. Then it worked great.
