TireTime helps you quickly decode the manufacture date of any tire sold in the United States.
Every tire sold in the U.S. has a DOT TIN (Tire Identification Number) molded into one of the sidewalls. The last 4 digits of this number indicate the week and year of manufacture.
Knowing tire age is critical for making informed decisions about vehicle safety, tire maintenance, or when evaluating a used vehicle. Tires degrade over time — even if they appear to have plenty of tread.
TireTime makes it easy: just enter the DOT code, and the app will tell you when the tire was made.
