Nelu is a childcare management app that connects parents, guardians, and childcare staff in one private workspace.
Built for daycare and early-learning centres, Nelu replaces fragmented paper notes, group chats, and photo emails with a single, organized place for everything that happens during a child's day.
What you can do with Nelu
• Daily reports — staff log meals, naps, activities, mood, and milestones, and parents see them in real time.
• Attendance — quick sign-in and sign-out for each child, with a clear arrival and departure history.
• Messaging — secure direct messages between parents and staff, plus room and centre-wide announcements.
• Photo and video sharing — staff share moments from the day with the families involved, with optional face-blur for children whose guardians opt out of photo sharing.
• Push notifications — never miss a pickup change, an incident report, or a message from your child's teacher.
• Calendar and events — track holidays, parent-teacher conferences, and centre-wide events.
• Document and form sharing — distribute permission forms, dietary records, and signed consent.
Designed for childcare
Nelu is built specifically for the daily reality of childcare centres in Canada. Information about children is treated as sensitive by default. Centre administrators control who can see what; parents see only their own children; and staff access is scoped to the rooms they work in.
Privacy and security
• Data is hosted in Google Cloud's Canada region.
• Photo blurring uses a parent-controlled, opt-in privacy feature.
• Sign-in is protected by Firebase Authentication and Firebase App Check.
• You can request deletion of your data at any time — see our privacy policy for details.
Who it's for
• Parents and guardians of children attending a participating childcare centre.
• Childcare staff, supervisors, and administrators.
Nelu requires an invitation from a participating centre. If your centre is interested in using Nelu, contact us at support@neluapp.com
