The Petivity Smart Litter Box Monitor system consists of a smart device and connected app that transform data about your cat’s litterbox behavior into insights about their well-being. The system identifies behavior and weight changes that may be associated with a health condition requiring veterinary diagnosis like UTI, kidney disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism and obesity.

I'm really enjoying this device and associated app. If I could add something to it, I would add the ability to enter known conditions so the monitor could customize its alerts. For example, my cats have FLUTD, so I know why they're using the box a lot and don't need an alert for that. Instead, I would need an alert for if they stop using the box or are going in an not doing anything.

I like the premise and the scale is fine, but the app is garbage and unbearably slow. It takes 5 minutes just to open the app to tell my new scale which cat was using the box. I am not going to keep using it if the app doesn't work smoothly.

I'm leaving off a star due to a bug. The app does not properly request permission for Notifications, so it won't push any notifications unless you manually enable on Android 14. Also, it opens very slowly.
