■ Extensive Story Mode
Ten Books of original content set in a world inspired by Norse mythology!

On top of that, stories of Heroes throughout the series unfold. You can see Heroes in different outfits than they wore in past Fire Emblem games, inspired by such things as Halloween or a tea party.

New stories are added every month. Don't miss them!

■ Extensive Orb Distribution and Hero Gifts
Clearing the story and completing select events will earn you Orbs, which you need to summon Heroes. Save up Orbs and welcome Heroes into your barracks.

Also, you can have Heroes who were voted as some of the most popular join your barracks soon after starting the game. Plus, when you progress through the Heroes' Path quests, some of the most popular Heroes in series history can join your barracks.

■ A Simple Battle System with Depth
The battle system of past Fire Emblem games has been optimized for smartphones. You can enjoy Fire Emblem with simple, satisfying controls. And, you can personalize your units by making use of a rich skill system unique to Fire Emblem Heroes. You can refine tactics that have depth to them.

Even if you are not confident with taking on strategic battles, you have nothing to worry about! If you use the Auto-Battle feature, your Heroes will fight for you automatically.

■ Easy-to-Pick-Up yet Deep Growth System
Rather than a focus on level-grinding, the game offers a wide variety of methods to power your Heroes up, like switching skills in and out or using Engage to expand their abilities.

With the right training, any Hero can make their presence known at the front lines.

■ Replayable Modes
There are all sorts of modes in addition to the story mode, including many events, PvP modes, and more.

■ Original Characters Meet Legendary Heroes
The game features many Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and original characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army.

Ratings and reviews

Used to be a fun game. Left the game after Book 7, it was getting crazy, but still definitely playable back then. Came back, now every new unit that comes out takes 0 damage and one shots everything. Old returning players will find that 99% of the hundreds and hundreds of heroes in the game are now completely unusable. I suppose most have left at this point and it's surviving entirely on a small population of whales. It's a shame, I liked a lot of the FEH original characters.

Day 1 player here, but the power creep has absolutely ruined this game for me. There's no strategy that can compete with the new units they're releasing other than "spend money to get a chance at unlocking the new unit yourself." When every single character gets paragraphs of effects for all their skills and weapons, can attack up close or at range, gets immediate bonus damage and damage reduction, higher base stats and extra stat boosts to every stat, plus free healing every turn, good luck.

Plays well, looks great. Also, despite micropay, it's 100% optional to buy, due to getting orbs daily and clearing main missions on each difficulty; so whoever plays or buys will still have the same base chance and oppurtunity to get their favorite heroes from the franchise. Unfortunately, very unbalanced 1v1 modes, abysmal gacha power creep releases, and nothing unique or interesting to keep the game entertaining. I don't even use all the free summon redeems anymore. Fell off very hard.
