The fact that you only have three stages in the free version doesn't mean anything. There's still lots to do! Collect coins, compete with others and collect Toads, break your own records, etc. I will most definitely buy the full game when I get the money. This is sort of back to basics, yet not completely. Brilliantly done, Nintendo! You have successfully reinvented the wheel, and yet again caught my attention! Very, very good!
A brand new Super Mario game, and Super Magical as always. Flawless in every category, from the beautiful graphics and amazing gameplay to the memorable sound track and adorable sound effects, this is what any great game should be like, anyone can enjoy playing. It would have been a keeper, but I am not a fan of fully paid games that require constant network connection. Uninstalled, but leaving a 5-star rating for the game itself and for old time sake, good luck and all the best!
Been in love with mario games since i was born and my mom bought me the very first nintendo consule when it had came out. This game has amazing graphics and concept. Just really dont like the fact that it does everything for you. Would of been so much fun to be actually be able to move him like all other mario games.. not sure how long will be playing this game. I will most likely get board soon. Which sucks!
Mario Run is visually appealing. The movements are slightly more complex than I thought they would be which is nice. There is a slight learning curve. Toad rally helps keep it interesting. (Especially considering I haven't decided if I'm going to purchase the full game.) I haven't added any friends yet so no info on the friendly runs. Side note: The Green Shelled Koopa Troopa is hard to level up. I suggest giving the game a try.
Do not take one stars reviews seriously. Because one star reviewers aren't rating the graphics, not the gameplay, not the controls. It's more like a review of the PRICE. Apparently, $10 is too much for a quality game. Even though most mobile gamers will spend more than $10 on microtransactions for "free" games, a one time fee to play with no ads, no microtransactions is too expensive! This is a decent runner. I own it on my iPhone. Nice soundtrack, graphics, gameplay. Play the free stages, form your own opinion.
The game is too limited. The best part about Mario was the exploring and being able to goof off. The original Mario games were available on the Wii for just $4.99. I would Pay $10 if it came with a Classic Nintendo Bluetooth Controller, or better yet use my Wii Controllers. They use Bluetooth, I used to use the Wii controller before Android blocked it with new updates. Having options to buy Mario All stars and Yoshi's island, Even Super Mario would be sweet.
