The Nintendo Switch App smartphone app enhances your online gameplay experience on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 and Nintendo Switch systems. With this app, you can use friend features and game-specific services for compatible games even when you're not playing! You can also view and share screenshots and videos uploaded from your system.

◆ Check friends' online status

You can check whether your friends are online and see what games they're playing. You can also choose to receive a notification in the app when a friend comes online.

◆ Use your smartphone to add friends

You can add friends via their friend code or a QR code even when you're not using your system.

◆ View your screenshots and videos

You can upload screenshots and videos saved in your system's Album to the app, then view, save, and share them.

◆ Access game-specific services

You can use these services to view helpful information related to the supported software! You will also have access to a variety of features that will help take your online gameplay experience to the next level.

Ratings and reviews

There is no obvious help ticket button to enquire about features and games included that I saw for the online expansion pack subscription. The only reason I subscribed to a 12 month Nintendo Online Expansion subscription was to play Starcraft 1 (it was on N64 back in the day). That game is not included in the game library for the Nintendo Online Expansion library. I guess that's on me for not doing more research. Still, very surprising the game library for Nintendo Online Expansion is so limited

Zelda Notes is a must for Zelda players; it makes collecting fun and has dialogue regarding places in the game. It also allows item transfers between games and even shipping botw items to totk. The supported games are limited, but that isn't bad. An app shouldn't be for every single title ever, though I saw a poor review for exactly that. I recommend downloading the app and seeing if it is applicable to you; if it isnt, simply unload it for now. Check later.

not really that useful. If you play the games this app supports, it gives useful maps, notes and extra content. my biggest issue is not being able to look at the Nintendo store and manage my wishlist, I constantly look for games releasing or games that would go on sale. no store access, no messages with friends, can't access icons or coins, I was expecting a lot more but this app is something I never use.
