If Observa rejects an observation, is the data still sent to the customer?

Never. At Observa, we only want to pass along high-quality data to our customers, so we discard data from rejected observations. We only reject an observation if the secret shopper didn't follow the instructions correctly. Right now, more than 90% of observations are accepted.

I spent more than 30 minutes doing an audit after driving more than 10 miles from my home. I asked two associates about missing items I couldn't locate after locating others. They advised that said items were either completely out of stock, or not carried. There were other items that were not carried at this location as well. After submission I received a rejection. This process is inefficient. The time, energy, and resources invested made the ordeal a net loss.

this app used to be good. Maybe $6 - $12 for a visit and section check. But recently they've started cramming more into the tasks. $20 for a store visit, but they want dozens of photos from all over the store. It is a big ask, and disruptive in the store. The freezer section alone is a nightmare. Walk into a store and start propping open cooler doors, stand back 6 feet, and take pictures - that's unreasonable for us and creates a disturbance in the store. No way I doing that.

Did my first opp yesterday. Instructions were good and was paid within the hour. Wish there were more opps in my area because I would do them! Edit. Thought I'd try the app again after a few years, and boy has it changed. If your time isn't valuable to you, then do some tasks for them, but don't expect to be paid for your time. Took a task, and the stock they wanted in the photo wasn't available on the shelf, so I did what I could with what was there. Did my best, and they didn't approve it.
