Don't waste your time! This app is no good for anything. They let you post a couple things then delete your posts. Then they will block your account so no one can find you or see your posts. So your posting but for no reason, no one is going to see them. Your ads are blocked. So your just waisting your time. And to the mod, no I didn't post anything I shouldn't have. If you say skirts are inappropriate for your site, then I'm guilty. Or a TV, or a tub is against your rules ( which I read ,thank you) then I'm wrong but your site will still suck because you will still be blocking people for your reasons and only your reasons with out a notice at all. Legally should be sued. Letting people waist their time with your app is wrong, misleading, and fraudulent. Update: Seems to be working fine now after they fixed it. Still not sure will update in a month.
Notice to old and new Offer Up users: "Upon your new app updates, there were no public mention of a new policy for a cellphone-only validation and the reasons for such. Secondly, an email was already use for such purpose so I see this is redundant and invasive for privacy reasons. So far, from my research and reading past user reviews, no one else seems to be aware of this issue. Not only did you not answer all of my questions as posted other than giving me your new policy review. I will be doing some investigation into this matter and see what other purpose or intent, if any, beyond that of the so called security feature which currently lacks explaination and merit. Finally, I will not give you any numbers for the usage of this app. You will also soon realize if this is a new public policy for all Offer Up users, your user base will be on the decline. I will also be in contact with Google reps to look further into this matter."
I'm tired of people lying on here about prices and/or items even being real.. No I will not email you or send you money through western union or other means where you try to scam countless others. Items shouldn't be sold like they're brand new. When I try to buy something on here people are rude. They try to scam you. Others play the poor me card. Sorry I don't want to hear your life story I'm just trying to make what should be a simple transaction. Also it's offer up an app for negotiations. This isn't a store no one cares if you only used you item once or it's like brand new. If I wanted to pay the same price it would be at best buy, Wal-Mart, target, etc. I would get it there at least it's safe. You have a return policy and possibly a protection plan. You know what you're getting into or you have a pretty good idea. Countless unnecessary conversations. It shouldn't be this difficult to simply buy or sell something.
The least problem of all sites to negotiate with sellers, most honest and informative yet. Still have not found a good vehicle, or missed out too late. Searching could be improved in settings. Some sellers have taken long to answer, withholding requested information, or no response and suspicious offers and behavior.. some sellers use multiple names and addresses. Dealers are invitingly deceptive and clutter the site for private party sales, free of charge. **I am no longer able to free scroll on my watching category, too many slow and repetitive movements... *** I very much enjoyed the brief time that you were showing how many views an item was looked at. I don't see that anymore and wish you would bring it back.
I can confirm all the negative reviews. People not following thru. The poor me sob story. The scammers. No I'm not going thru pay pal and shipping. Really how dumb do I look. And lately their commercis are on way way too much.
Love the app. Easy to navigate, but and sell items. I have had issues recently where it won't retain my location. So i have to re-enter it pretty much everytime I open the app. I hadn't had this issue prior to a week to a week and a half ago. Other than that, I love the app.
