Oracle MICROS InMotion is a revolutionary app that provides restaurant operators with quick and easy access to real-time business analytics, anywhere and anytime.
For single or multiple properties, view live graphs of today’s key performance indicators such as sales, labor cost, discounts, check count and ticket time. A built in forecasting engine allows for an overlay of both same day last week and last year comparisons, as well as a projected forecast for today and the trend for the next two weeks.
Receive alerts and push notifications when key indicators fall outside normal ranges, or when critical problems occur, such as credit cards failing to settle.
Manage your labor by viewing and ranking employee performance on all key factors, and be warned when an employee approaches or enters overtime.
View a breakdown of checks by tender or discount type, including full check-level detail. The Check Lookup feature lets you retrieve individual guest checks by location, date or amount – and email a copy of the check instantly, right from your device!

Ratings and reviews

I don't think it's terrible but it's.not great either. There are these notifications that popup and say things like "the discounts are too high!!!" which may or may not be true; but even though I work on the backend of the system, I would REALLY LIKE TO KNOW what on the backend controls these alerts as they would be valuable to our accounting and operations teams. I am still looking through the documentation, but I don't see it mentioned so far, and there is A LOT of documentation.

Bug city. Like other people say the app only loads certain pages and doesnt load others. My biggest issue though is it makes me log in daily instead of recognizing my device. Its very annoying. No finger print or face ID option either. I will go back to review 5 stars once its fixed. I believe this could be a great app but they need to loosen the purse strings on their developers.

In the last few months the app has failed to work. Everytime I go in and try to access information, its throws out an errors that the device/ app has no connectivity which is ridiculous as everything else is working with my connectivity in my device. Supoort has yet to get back to me to fix!
