Ratings and reviews

This is a great bank if you don't enjoy having access to your money. They do their absolute best to make sure transferring money out is almost impossible. From cooling down periods to holding DuitNow transactions and forcing you to contact their case management department which takes 14 days to respond, forcing you to use their ATM to register your device. None of those things actually make using their system easier, or more secure.

Feels extra safe compared to others with its one-of-a-kind Kill Switch—if I spot anything off, I can lock my whole account, cards and online access all at once in seconds . There’s also Fund Lock to set aside money that no one can touch without my say-so . I can also buy/sell gold directly here, do cardless cash withdrawals at their ATMs, and use Quick Payment for small amounts without even logging in fully—stuff I haven’t seen done exactly like this elsewhere.

The Public Bank Mobile app is simple, reliable, and does exactly what a banking app should. Fund transfers, loan tracking, bill payments, and balance checks are all just a few taps away. The app loads quickly and the layout is straightforward — even my parents find it easy to use. Very impressed with how smooth and secure the whole experience is!
