I like this app a lot for all the peaks and trail and research. I love the website too. what I can't get over though is that no matter what settings on my pixel8 I change, I cannot get anything close to reliable gps data. my friend has an iPhone and her gos is insanely accurate. for one trail her and I did together recently, my app counted 6.6 miles and 2913' elevation gain, but hers clocked 10.5 miles and 2462' elevation gain. we did the whole trail together.

Edit: turns out this app is abandoned. Doesn't work on newer android models either. This app really wants to know your location. I installed the app and just wanted to look around see how it works. In order to even access the map it requires your location permission active. if you click on a mountain peak it tells at you to turn on your location. You don't need to constantly know where I am. I'm not interested in whatever you're selling.

App mostly is awesome. However, it's super annoying that it constantly resets to my current location. I live in the flat lands and am rarely looking at the map for my home location but often scouting elsewhere. It would be great if there was an option to turn off auto locate. Unfortunately working around by turning off location doesn't work since the app requires this permission to even open. It would be best to just add a locate button like most mapping apps.
