This application is a practical complement to the 2018 Lake Louise Acute Mountain Sickness Score (AMSS) Questionnaire.(https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK557466).

Acute mountain sickness (AMS) is a syndrome that arises in non-acclimatized individuals who ascend to high altitudes. It is a form of acute altitude illness that occurs due to decreased atmospheric partial pressure of oxygen as the altitude increases, inducing hypoxia. This condition typically occurs at an altitude of greater than 2500 meters; however, it can occur at lower elevations in high-risk individuals.

AMSS is a completely free and ad-free app.

App settings are now persisted across sessions.
REPLY TO POLICY CONCERN: Updated Privacy Policy to clarify that all 'Health Data' (interval sequences) is strictly processed and stored locally on-device. No data is collected or transmitted to external servers. This addresses the Health Data disclosure requirement in the User Data policy.
