it scanned ok, but it was really annoying that you can't turn off some of the autofeatures (for example, keep the clip but turn off the color corrector). also the three day trial is basically garbage because they charge you right away and make you jump thru hoops to get a refund. it gets two stars for working and being a passable option for scanning slides.

So so...am using this app in conjunction with their LED light pad. Most slides scanned OK, but there were frequent problems where the scans were totally blurred (any picture that was blurred remained blurred in multiple attempts to re-scan). Same problem with color accuracy, where, for example, violet and light blue wild flowers scanned as almost black and white. Problematic results, particularly if you are archiving lots of slides.

I used two methods to transfer slides to my computer. This app and a device that hooks directly to the computer but only works on Windows XP. The older device always gave clear photos but made many of them way too bright. This app usually produced good colors and focus. However, the app chooses what part of the photo to focus on, despite the instructions which claim you can chose, so some slides turn out a bit blurry no matter what distance you use. A few times it cropped the photos weird.
