It was great a few years ago. I'm not sure what changed, but you can't do anything with this app or printer anymore. It used to work fine, be it a little rough with going through menus, but it worked. Now, even though everything is connected, the app just sits in the "preparing for printing" screen. I've reset the ZIP, reinstalled the app, disconnected and reconnected my device multiple times, nothing works. Really sad cause I loved my little printer

This app gets worse and worse. YOU DON'T NEED ACCESS TO MY CONTACTS AND LOCATION TO PRINT MY PHOTOS. I tried to print a landscape photo and in one screen it's fine, then in the preview it stretches out to portrait. WHY IS THIS APP SO TRASH. yes I'm pissed that they bloated it past actual function. Now I have a brick not a printer.

Contacts are definitely not required. Android OS will always ask when using Bluetooth to pair to any device, if you want to allow contacts. You can opt out and it will not affect anything. The location services are used for nearby device scanning to locate the printer only. Please email support@zink.com so we can help. Thank you!

This app is okay. It's a clunky app. The color of the photo you print is not true, it prints much darker than expected, and it's very touchy about adjusting the brightness. Try to adjust it just a little and you wind up with a picture much too bright. It's next to impossible to tell how bright you need to adjust it so that it prints relatively true to color. You also can't back out of an editing tab without having to start from square one again. And you can choose to edit a photo OR print preview in order to fill the whole print (print w/o the white borders), but you can't do both. So several things that need improving.
