This app used to be perfect, gave you articles with no hassle, no bugs etc. Then they introduced this sign-on requirement, which I understand why they would add. But it doesn't work. I have to re-sign in multiple times a week, and it frequently won't work at all. WHY would you break a perfectly good app??

Very buggie app. It sends out notification that a news article is available, but when you click on the notification, it first opens the app to show that article, and then 2 seconds later, it blanks out and tells you the article is not available. Another frequent issue: you select an article to read, and it takes you to a completely different article. This app could seriously benefit from being completely revamped.

It stops working. I call and write to Politico and never get a response. Went back to Huffington post app. Update. The app is still a problem. Articles don't always load. You often have to open previous articles to open the article you want to read. The program also prevents my phone from going into sleep mode. I've had this app on a Samsung 7 and OnePlus. Both phones would not go into sleep mode automatically. If the politico app is removed, then sleep mode works
