*"To read/write Call Logs and Contacts" is required to backup, access, and restore your call history and contacts.
*"Read Phone" is required to get the device ID which helps distinguish your device.
*"Accounts" is required for accessing Play Store for making in-app purchases.
*"Run at startup" is required to run scheduled backups.

Clunky interface. Backs up things you have not selected. The app makes you scroll past all your photos to select different albums; there is no quick way to just tap the albums/folders you want backed up. This is really irritating when you have thousands of photos. There is a switch for auto camera upload. Unfortunately this does not use the folders you selected, it backs up everything, including things from other apps, not just your camera. Overall, very frustrating and inefficient.

I compared cloud companies for three months before choosilng idrive. There's a lot of things to consider: security, upload and download speeds, oS integrations, device compatibility, price, connection stability, and UX/interface. This app has delivered in every category! Thank you! Only thing I cannot figure out is how to share access with someone.i understand I can send them a link but I would them to be able to upload to the shared file. Idrive is stable, reliable, non-intrusive.💯

if you use the Cloud Drive feature you could lose all your files. the app has continuously failed on all of my devices to access my files and there's no other way to download. reply to dev comments: This has been a problem for months and is true on my computer and phone. I've spoken to your support team and even did a support call with screen sharing. The apps are unstable on all platforms and there's no way to bulk download files from the web client.
