About this app

The PI Banking App is the mobile financial service of Pubali Bank PLC, enabling customers to access their accounts and general information about bank products and services in one convenient place via mobile devices. The primary goal of this electronic banking service is to provide customers with a more responsive and cost-effective alternative to traditional banking.

Users can access a comprehensive suite of tools through the app. Customers can easily transfer funds to other accounts, pay utility and credit card bills, view real-time account statements, stop payments on outstanding cheques, and top up their mobile phones.

To facilitate features like mobile recharges and fund transfers to MFS, the app may request optional permission to access your contacts list. Additionally, optional camera permission is requested to upload a profile picture, scan QR codes for merchant payments, and use the "Cash by QR" feature in card management.

There is a huge bug in this app. The app is constantly stopping me from creating an account. It lets me go through the whole process till scanning the face and then, it goes into a complete black screen. Nothing happens. I have waited for several minutes but nothing happened. Navigation doesn't work. If I try to minimize the app, then it goes back to the Face Scanning screen again. Tried cleaning the app data, reinstalling the app and so on but nothing helped.

I noticed that the Bangla QR payment option does not allow payments using a credit card through the Pubali Bank app. However, this feature is already available in the banking apps of several other banks. It would be highly appreciated if you could enable credit card payments through Bangla QR in the Pubali Bank app as soon as possible. This enhancement would make the service more convenient and improve the overall user experience.

The app works fine overall, but it's extremely frustrating that it refuses to run when Developer Options are enabled. In 2026, many users enable them for legitimate reasons, and we shouldn't have to disable useful Android features just to use mobile banking. Please improve your security instead of blocking users. Otherwise, the app is okay.
