Ice had my lights and this app for years! I use it as my primary home lighting. They pushed an update which effectively disables the ability to access the light control interface. The full screen ads don't load the X button and there's no way to bypass when it locks up. Ads are present for minutes, won't go away after backing out/ closing. Now, I can't interface with my LED control anymore. The lights can't be paired with another Bluetooth interface either. Absolutely unacceptable!!

Moved into an apartment that my friend was in and he left these lights. Since day 1 they've been horrible. I don't have the remote, and one set doesn't sync to the app, so that one I can never turn off without unplugging. I used the one that did sync with the app for a while. Now it's become unusable with the fullscreen ads before the app opens every time. It was just annoying at first but if the ad never fully loads you can't access the app. Just garbage.

Recently they just started making ads play every time you open the app. The first 3-5 seconds are unskippable. I shouldn't have to watch an ad to turn my lights on. Even if they were able to be skipped or X'ed out of. If you have to put ads on this app at least make it a banner ad where it doesn't take up the whole screen and prevent you from controlling your lights. Ridiculous. By the way, one of the ads somehow showed a woman's nude private area. Not sure how that got through.
