main reason to download is when you lose your remote. How can you comfirm the connection is you DON'T have a remote to do so. If I had the remote to comfirm then why download this app. I'm sure the app works great but pointless in my book.

so i dont have a remote for my TV obviously... How am i supposed to connect it to my wifi without a remote??? you can't so none of these apps are practical at all! if i had a remote i wouldn't need this app for Christ sake in addition my wifi is my hotspot on my phone which apparently can't be used and i don't have Ethernet so it's stupid. finally my card will not be billed at registration but immediately I received a fraud alert for 29.90 from this account registration on a worthless app to me!

You want me to subscribe to a universal remote app? $20 a year is a terrible and predatory way to get money. Just charge $3-$5 like a normal, non shady, company would.
