RePhone Security is a smart home security app designed for families and small spaces. It turns your spare phone into a “camera device” and lets you monitor it remotely from another phone as the “viewer device”, so you can always keep an eye on what matters most.

With human detection, automatic recording, secure account pairing and a modern UI, RePhone Security helps you build a simple but reliable DIY surveillance system.

- Camera device: Uses the phone as an always‑on security camera

2. Smart human detection & auto recording
- Uses Google ML Kit pose detection to recognize people in the frame
- Automatically captures a snapshot and records about 10 seconds of video once a person is detected
- Stricter topology checks help filter out false positives from furniture or other objects
- Stores snapshots and clips locally so you can review key moments anytime
3. Event timeline & history playback
- Every detection creates an “event” record with time, snapshot and video
- Browse events as a list, preview thumbnails, and play back recordings
- Delete individual events when you no longer need them
- Automatic cleanup of old recordings to save device storage
4. Secure authentication & privacy protection
- Email‑based account system with verification code login
- Only devices logged in with the same email can connect to each other, preventing strangers from accessing your cameras
- End‑to‑end media transfer over WebRTC with signaling and TURN servers for both security and stability
- All monitoring data is stored on your own devices by default, so you stay in control of your privacy
5. Stable connection & instant alerts
- Uses WebRTC + WebSocket for low‑latency real‑time video communication
- TURN server support helps traverse complex network environments
- Push notifications can be sent when alerts are triggered on the camera device
- Optional “ignore battery optimizations” to keep the camera online longer

【How to Use】

1. Install RePhone Security on two phones and sign in with the same email
2. On the phone that will act as the camera, switch to “Camera” mode and grant camera/microphone permissions
3. On the other phone, switch to “Viewer” mode, add and bind the camera device, then start watching live video and receiving alerts
【Permissions】
RePhone Security requires the following permissions for core functionality:

- Camera: capture live video for monitoring
- Microphone: capture audio (you can mute it inside the app at any time)
- Network & network state: establish remote connections and send/receive alerts
- Foreground service / wake lock: keep the camera device running stably over time
