ReelLife Conversations is a thoughtfully designed app created to support meaningful reminiscence between people living with dementia and those who support them.
Photos are paired with pre-prepared conversation ideas to encourage natural discussion about memories, people, places and experiences.
This may help conversation flow more naturally between two people and may reduce the pressure of finding the right thing to say. If a particular interaction causes an unexpected reaction, the app also includes a Comfort Photo feature with minimised screen clutter, which may help the user pause, reset, or move into a different conversation.
ReelLife Conversations is designed to support calm, structured engagement. Rather than avoiding conversation out of uncertainty, users are offered supportive conversation cues, and a simple visual experience intended to feel reassuring and accessible for people with cognitive impairment.

Ready to Use
The app includes a curated photo collection featuring familiar public figures and imagery from the 1980s to the present day. This collection is available free for 7 days.

This version introduces a subscription experience. Once subscribed, users can continue using the provided photo collection or upload their own photos through the Family Admin Portal, which sits outside the app, for a more personalised experience.

• Name customisation for a familiar experience
• Comfort photo feature for reassurance
