About this app

Samsung Smart Keyboard application is a companion app designed to enhance the functionality and user experience of BLE based Samsung Smart physical Keyboard.

The user must need to have Samsung Smart Physical Keyboard connected to the device to use this application.

The app focuses on facilitating firmware update of physical keyboard and notifying user about low battery of keyboard. The app prompts for consent, and handles the update process seamlessly, with real-time status updates displayed. The app ensures cross-device compatibility, functioning smoothly on both Samsung and non-Samsung Android devices.

The following permissions are required for the app service. You can still use the app's basic functions without allowing the optional permissions.

- Nearby devices (Android 12 or above): Used to scan for keyboards nearby
- Location (Android 11 or less): Used to scan for keyboards nearby

[Optional permissions]
- Notifications : Used to notify you about updates and other important issues

It doesn't learn your vocabulary period as you can see if you want a period at the end of your sentence , it doesn't do that period it doesn't say question mark comma! Oh , look at work! It's been a nightmare and I am currently searching for a better keyboard. I've never had problems with Samsung before.

Not so smart. It came stock installed on my Galaxy. It autocorrects terribly... especially with voice recognition. it's like it doesn't even try and throws in random characters that make no sense like "/" signs between words. Just the worst. I discovered the Google keyboard and it is so much better.

no reason for a keyboard to know my location, connect to other devices and to send me notifications. na. hard pass. no reason a keyboard for my phone needs that information. 0/5 but it says I have to leave at least one star :(
