QR Code Reader Home Launcher turns QR actions into part of your everyday Home experience. Scan and create codes, manage local records, search installed apps and customize the launcher with folders, widgets, themes and layout controls.

Flexible QR code reading
Use the camera for live scanning, switch on the flash in low light, or pick an existing image from your phone. The image scanner accepts JPG and PNG files and processes the selected picture locally. This gives you a simple way to read codes shown in print, on another screen or inside a saved photo.

Recognize common QR information
Decode websites, text, wireless network details, contacts, phone numbers, emails, text messages, events and geographic locations. Actions adapt to what was scanned: open the browser or map, copy information, go to Wi-Fi settings, create a contact or event, or prepare a call, SMS or email. A link notice encourages you to confirm an address before opening it.

Generate, preview and share
Create QR codes for nine useful content types: websites, text, Wi-Fi, contacts, phone, email, SMS, calendar events and locations. View the generated result full screen, make corrections, save an image or share the code. The app can also receive shared text and turn it into a QR code, with a separate shortcut for Wi-Fi details.

Keep QR records organized
Completed scans can be stored in an on-device history. Filter records by type, source or date, rename an item, add a note, mark favorites and pin important codes. My QR keeps created codes separate and ready to show again. Choose 30-day, 90-day or unlimited retention, or clear regular history while keeping Favorites and My QR. Incognito mode prevents new scans from being saved. Sensitive codes require confirmation and are encrypted on the device.

A Home screen for apps and search
The launcher features become available when you choose this app as Android's default Home app. Open the full app drawer, look up installed apps by name, or use Google search and voice search from the Home page. Pin preferred applications, remove Home items, rearrange shortcuts and build folders. Long-press options help you inspect an app, change its Home placement or open the system uninstall flow.

Home customization controls
Search available widgets and add up to two of them to Home, then move or remove them later. Configure grid density, icon dimensions and app-name text, including the option to hide labels. Theme choices include following Android, light mode and dark mode. You can blur the wallpaper where supported, alter the background darkness and reset the Home arrangement to its defaults, including shortcuts, dock items, folders and widgets.

Simple Home navigation
Use a right swipe to open scanning, a left swipe to refresh this app's temporary cache, an upward swipe to open the drawer and a downward swipe for notifications. If the drawer is showing, swiping down returns to Home. These gestures make core actions available directly from the launcher.

Charging and app updates
A charging status page can appear when power connects or disconnects. It can show battery percentage, source, session duration, estimated time until full and the amount added during the session. The launcher also watches for installed or removed apps so Home and the App Drawer stay current, with a result page that explains the completed change.

Built around clear choices
Live scanning uses camera access, while gallery scanning lets you work with a saved image. QR history and scanner settings remain on the device, with retention and Incognito controls available from settings. Launcher shortcuts offer faster access to scanning, creating a code and opening My QR.
