I would have to say that this app works fine when you have machines that are set up to use it. My apartment complex last year closed the laundry facilities. I still have a remaining balance and when they reopened it just this year, they chose not to use the shine pay app. so shine pay will not refund the remaining balance back to me so I can use it for my laundry. their email support is lacking! beware! Even getting a refund for a malfunctioning machine is difficult with them!

We’re sorry for the frustration, Don. ShinePay credits are non-refundable as outlined in our Terms, but they remain in your account and can be used at any ShinePay location. If a machine fails, refund requests can be submitted through the app and are reviewed by the machine owner. Should you need help, please contact us at feedback@shinepay.co

Preloaded the exact amount I would need to finish two loads (plus the processing fee 🙄), first machine worked fine. Tried to start the second machine and the app just seemed to forget that I had money preloaded and asked me to load more money (defaulting to $25 no less)! Spent 3 minutes restarting the app before it finally remembered that there was already money on my account. Just gonna stick with quarters next time

Hi Christel, we're so sorry to hear about your experience. It's odd that the app asked you to load more money if you still have enough credit remaining. Usually, the app allows you to load from $5 to custom amount option, which allows to enter an amount you wish to load. We would like to see what happened. Please contact us at feedback@shinepay.co

Reliable app. I haven't experienced any crashes or problems reloading. My only suggestion is having the ability to add extra time to the machine without having to pay for an entirely new cycle. Maybe a pop-up with the ability to add more time (45 min with 15 min increments) and it charges you accordingly

Hi Danielle, thank you for the feedback! Adding extra time or top-up increments depends on how the machine is configured. If that option is enabled on the machine, the machine owner should be able to add it to the app. We suggest reaching out to your building/laundromat's management.
