Lost your TV remote? Control supported Smart TVs from your Android phone over Wi-Fi.

Remote Control brings several Smart TV platforms together in one convenient app. Connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network, discover your TV, complete pairing when requested, and use the available controls from your phone. You can also save remotes, control compatible IR appliances, and open your phone’s wireless-display settings.

SMART TV REMOTE OVER WI-FI

Choose your TV platform, find your TV on the local network, and pair using a PIN or on-TV confirmation when required.

Dedicated remote flows are available for:

• Samsung Smart TV (Tizen): control supported TVs and access the available apps list.

• Android TV and Google TV: use PIN pairing, D-pad, trackpad, keyboard, voice input, media controls and app launch where supported. Compatible devices may include supported TVs and players from Sony Bravia, TCL, Philips, Xiaomi, Mi Box, Nvidia Shield, Hisense, OnePlus, Realme and other Android TV or Google TV brands.

• Roku: navigate supported Roku TVs and streaming devices, manage playback and access the available apps list.

• LG webOS and compatible network TVs: use available navigation, volume, mute, text input, pointer, media, launcher and channel controls.

• VIZIO SmartCast: connect to and control supported VIZIO SmartCast TVs through the dedicated Wi-Fi remote flow.

Available features depend on the connected TV and may include:

• Power, volume and mute
• D-pad, trackpad or pointer navigation
• Keyboard and text input
• Voice input on supported remotes
• Playback and channel controls
• TV app lists and app launching

SCREEN MIRRORING HELPER

Want to share your phone screen on a compatible TV? Follow the guided setup:

1. Connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network
2. Enable Miracast or wireless display on your TV
3. Open your phone’s Cast or Wireless display settings

Screen mirroring is handled by the compatible wireless-display features of your phone and TV. This app acts as a setup helper and settings launcher; it does not provide a separate in-app streaming or casting engine.

IR REMOTES FOR APPLIANCES

If your Android phone has a built-in IR blaster, you can also find remotes for supported TVs, air conditioners, set-top boxes, projectors, A/V receivers, DVD players, cameras and fans.

Choose a category and brand, test the power signal, try the available layouts, and save the one that works. IR compatibility varies by phone, appliance and layout.

HOW TO GET STARTED

1. Connect your phone and Smart TV to the same Wi-Fi.
2. Select the TV platform in the Smart TV hub.
3. Choose the discovered TV.
4. Enter the PIN or approve the connection if requested.
5. Start using the available controls.

For IR devices, confirm that your phone has an IR blaster, choose the device and brand, then test and save a working layout.

• Wi-Fi control requires a supported TV or device on the same network.
