Solisluna is a Stoic discipline app for men — retention, training, and an honest record of both.
There is no score. Nothing rates your day out of a hundred. No streak to protect, no badges to farm, no leaderboard, and no notification engineered to drag you back. Nothing congratulates you. The app is a mirror. It shows what you did. What you make of that is your business.
WHERE IT STARTS
Every man is governed by something. Most never find out what. The impulse arrives and is obeyed in the same motion — the drink, the screen, the thing you reach for before you have decided to. Nobody watches you lose that argument, which is exactly why it is the one worth winning.
A man who can decline what he most reliably wants, alone, with no one keeping score, has proven something that carries into everything else: the training, the food, the patience with his children, the work he does when nobody is checking. So the app starts with the discipline every other one rests on, and works outward.
THE DAILY MARK
Each day you record one of three: held, released with intention, or broke. Three, because a release you chose is not a failure — only the compulsion counts against you. Sovereignty over the appetite, not merely abstinence from it.
TRAINING AND VITALS
Connect Health Connect and your sessions arrive on their own — heart rate, HRV, sleep, steps, distance and elevation gained. Runs, lifts, swims, hikes, all of it. Elevation is given the same weight as distance, because ten kilometres with eight hundred metres of climb is a different act from ten flat. Pace is there if you want it, kept small, because on terrain it is mostly noise.
THE JOURNAL
Sleep, training, fasting, stillness, cold exposure, food, and the work you are building. Recorded as fact, not graded. Ten minutes a day, then put the phone down — this app is meant to get you off it.
THE PATH
Six stages, from The Waking to The Free, measured in days kept rather than points earned. You do not grind them. You arrive at them, or you do not.
THE CODEX
Training protocols, nutrition, breathwork, fasting, cold, and the philosophy underneath them, opening as you go. Every citation checked against its source. Nothing quoted that cannot be found.
STOIC IN METHOD, PLAIN IN SPEECH
Marcus Aurelius wrote his notes at night, on campaign, with no intention that anyone would read them. That is the register here — a private record kept honestly, not a performance.
The Stoics supply the method: what is yours and what is not, and the plain fact that a man is disturbed not by events but by his judgement of them. Scripture supplies what the method is for — that self-command kept privately is worth very little, and that freedom is freedom to be useful to the people who depend on you.
There is a reason the men who take to this tend to be the ones who run long, lift heavy, or spend hours in weather they did not choose. Voluntary hardship teaches the same lesson the practice does. No mysticism. No vocabulary you would have to look up.
FREE TO DOWNLOAD
The whole practice is free: the daily mark, the journal, all six stages, the Codex, the calendar, the analytics, Health Connect sync, and the full food log with USDA food search.
A subscription adds three things that read your record back to you — the Mirror, the Weekly Transmission, and the nutrient reading. The annual plan starts with seven days free to try it.
Day one is not a promise. It is a fact you can point at tomorrow.
