The app is great when it is operational. My experience so far is that the app and the hardware are functional 2 months over a year. I have the Tahoma hardware, the Philips hub and a smart home controller; this app provides only 17% uptime compared to ~99% with the other manufacturers. Mandatory updates when connecting to this app have a good chance to ruin your safety system, so you can't use it while you are away from home. The support system is a 1990's style forum.

Generally stable and usable. The odd crash but rare. It quite often does not show the correct state of the appliance e.g when the app was in the background then activated again. It seems to not refresh its state so reliably. I need to often restart it to get the latest state, be it on off or a percentage of something. Good usability. Just needs a few bugs fixing and it'll get a 5* from me then. Fix the bugs before adding more stuff!

EDIT2: I contacted the hotline. They told me that after resetting the device (on their web) I need to call a paid technician. EDIT: Somfy hotline denies problems. The app and the whole experience is just terrible. It is complicated, unreliable and currently doesn't detect devices at all meaning I have 7 devices I cannot control via the app or any kind of automation. I was sold the Somfy ecosystem as "the premium one" and while I did pay premium price, the whole thing is below AliExpress devices.
