Junk.. Doesn't work.. it's not convienant. When it does work it only shows what you owe them and how to pay them. Thats their priority for this app. Doesn't reflect past payments. Not helpful to customers. Google should remove from their store til an app can be submitted that has a good user experience. When disgusted reviews out weigh the benefits and clearly no one moves to fix it. It's time to get rid of it. Dont download. Just a headache.. 84% of the time it fails.. I get good internet srvc. But app fails.
Data Temporarily Unavailable I can't even use the app. Every time I log in, I get the message "Data Temporarily Unavailable". It's been this way for five days now and my husband's is the same way. I even contacted Mediacom and they have not been the least bit helpful. Please fix the app so I can use it again.
Only does one thing The app will accept your money for a bill but that's it. The App will accept issues that you submit but doesnt not report it to Mediacom. The agents or the company will not be notified of anything that you report. Let alone even be aware to call you when you request a call back. Like I said, dont expect anything from this app other than the ability to pay your bill.
Major glitch... UPDATE 4/9/16, I made a payment earlier this week thru the mobile app. Not only did I not get a confirmation number, but my bank rejected the payment because they couldn't tell where the payment was going to. Because of this, Mediacom disconnected my service; no phone call, no warning, just disconnected. Very dissatisfied!
Do NOT bother!! After downloading this application, it informed me the only way I could use it and have a username/password in order to view my bill, see outages, ect., was to set up paperless billing. In other words, they wanted me to set up an automatic draft from my checking account before I can even use this application. No thank you. I will continue to get my bills through the mail, to ensure they don't overcharge, and this app can stay in the uninstalled section where it belongs.
Hey, I'm no particular fan of cable companies, but this app works flawlessly. I can check my internet useage, check for outages, and pay my bill, all in less than 5 minutes. How easy is that? Very easy, lol. I get the feeling that a lot of people are subscribed to more service than they can easily afford, that's one reason they're mad. I've had Mediacom in 3 different cities, 2 different states, and service overall has been excellent, with very little downtime. Internet useage caps are in place to prevent internet spammers from tying up everyones bandwidth. I've got the 50 meg speed, 350 gig cap, my family streams netflix and youtube constantly, and we haven't even come close to the data limit. That includes me downloading huge, gigabyte files for my video gaming.
