About this app

The T-Mobile® Direct Connect® app brings push-to-talk (PTT) communications to smartphones. The T-Mobile Direct Connect app enables push-to-talk communications with Direct Connect devices including best-in-class features such as 1-to-1 Direct Connect calling and Group Connect calling all with the convenience of touchscreen controls.

T-Mobile Direct Connect services should be added onto your T-Mobile lines of service before attempting to activate the application.

Please make sure to turn on and allow location/GPS, access to contacts, and push notifications.

Business Critical (Emergency Calling, Area Based Dynamic Talkgroups & Large Talkgroups up to 3,000 members)

Mission Critical PTT (Talkgroup & User profiles, Talkgroup affiliation, remote user check, user enable/disable, operational status messaging, ambient & discreet listening, MCX Talkgroups)

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Ratings and reviews

This app keeps popping up! I never installed it. I'll ever want to use it. I'm going to have to disable it through settings since Google play store won't let me uninstall it. I think these kinds of apps are useless, but I don't think apps should be installed on anyone's phone unless they want them. This app pops up everytime I open my screen up, yes every time. The only time it doesn't is when it has been sitting in my recent apps because I didn't swipe out of it yet. Total waste of time.......

I got a phone with this pre-installed and could not uninstall it. Consumed way to much battery and also when I deactivated the app, it activated itself after a restart.

i hate this app. i disable it and it enables itself just said later. i want to uninstall it not just disable it at this point. hostile app if you ask me. i don't want it on my phone!

What’s new

This release of TDC adds T-Satellite Data Support enabling TDC voice support:
- Stay connected in Satellite mode with a clear “Connected to Satellite” status.
- Place Push-to-Talk voice calls
- Send/receive Push-to-X messages (text, images, video, files, audio, location).
- Supports emergency alerts with location + Operational Status Messaging (OSM).
