Hi stronglifts team! When inputting your starting when after loading up the app for the first time? What does (number)×(number)lbs refer to? It's my understanding that it's suppose to be reps × weight. Ergo sets aren't factored in. If this is the case, I'm curious as to how accurate the starting weights are, as I one rep max 225lbs on the bench press, but I was given 5×5 95lbs. I trust the system. So long as this is normal, and I can get it confirmed I will follow through. Thank you!
I bought the premium. And since I injured my shoulder I can't do bench or overhead presses. I'm not able to edit the workouts so I could remove those exercises. Also would be awesome if you'd add 5x3 to the list. Edit: I meant add 5x3 to Squats, Deads, Rows etc. Also Thanks for answering this quick.
Easy to use, tracks progress, auto increases weight and is an overall good program. I've gained over 20 pounds in the first month and a half (I'm trying to gain) and my bmi is now in the normal range. My lifts have all over doubled, some almost trippeling. This along with also not looking so skinny, is why I would (and have) suggest this program, to anyone looking to get into weight lifting
I've made more gains using this application in one month than I have my entire life. Lol. Seriously. I did not know how to make gains - when to increase the weights. I purchasers the power pack to get the most out of the application. I don't regret a single cent spent. Bring us the advanced 5x5 and Madcow (?) 5x5 next. Pleassssse.
App is very simple and easy to understand. I paid for premium before I realized the app only had a few workouts built in. But the customization potential is there and you can add your own workouts. Very timely reply from developer with my concerns. Try it, you won't regret it. 👍
Had some strength gains from using this workout for about 2 months. However, I had to put in more cardio and other resistance training on my rest days as I was putting on a lot of fat as well as muscle by using just this workout. Definitely not an "all-rounder" for fitness, just core strength.
