AutoStart App Manager opens the apps you choose automatically: every time your device boots, at a set time, on your first unlock, when a charger is connected or when you join Wi-Fi. Set it up once and your apps are ready without a single tap. No root needed.

Made for phones, tablets, Android TV and Android car head units. Auto start your music, navigation, launcher, VPN, dashcam, smart-home or messaging apps right when you need them.

• Android requires the "Display over other apps" permission to open apps in the background; the app asks for it during setup.
• Time triggers use Android's exact alarms. On Android 12 and newer, allow "Alarms & reminders".
• AutoStart App Manager starts the apps you choose. It does not stop or disable other apps from starting.
• Some manufacturers add their own background limits, so results can vary by device. The in-app Help shows the fix for each brand.

Ratings and reviews

This app is better than the others that I tried in that it sometimes works. It needs to have been running when my device was turned off. The device needs to be unlocked within a short time from being turned on or else the selected apps won't start. Many times only some will start and not all. Of those that do start, some will later shut down on their own. It always triggers a notification when it starts even when this option is disabled. Update: stopped working, reinstalled, ads intrusive now.

Great app, lets me always have my base set of apps running after a restart.

Does what you expect. Ads are a bit annoying..but what free apps don't have ads and let's be honest, once you've selected all your apps you're done and that's not an issue anymore. It is a tad slow to get going after a restart which causes everything to kind of lag/freeze..So don't be in too much of a rush to get straight back to it and you'll be fine. I'd love the option for it to "swipe away" the app after it starts rather than them being open and in your face but again that's a small thing.
