I purchased a couch from Ikea on 4/27 and was set up to have it built by Taskrabbit on 4/29. 1 hour before the apt I get a message that my Tasker cancled the job. I rescheduled for 4/30 at the same time. 10 minutes past the scheduled time I get a notification that the new Tasker cancled. This is the most unprofessional business I've come across in Virginian Beach, or anywhere. Their app itself works fine so that's a plus I suppose but I did everything online so take it for what it's worth.

Edit 2: work is coming back a bit but there are still glitches. Notifications can be hit or miss. And, when you don't get a notification for a same day task, they freeze your account. However, when unfreeze, you get taken off the same day list for that day. It's very frustrating. Then, on top of it all, you are unable to reach anyone on support. Support used to be excellent but now it's almost non-existant. This app used to be a full time job if you wanted it to be. Nowhere close anymore.

4/30/2024 UPDATE: I left this review in Aug 2022, yet STILL nearly 2 years later you have not implemented this very simple fix to the app. Again, after a task is booked WE NEED AN 'ADD TO CALENDAR' LINK. Every other app does this! (Look at Handy as an example) App is a bit clunky, but I would raise my review 1 entire star if you simply added an "Add to Calendar" link on the Task Info page, so we have the ability to add the Task directly into our Google Calendar. Come on, that's app writing 101!
