I should give 5, but recently issue with sending took days to resolve including completely uninstalling, reinstall and having to manually reconfigure. And issues with picking photos and the "Choose" not being intuitive or visible depending on the screen contrast. Do wish RCS was implemented! Big miss! Otherwise, sending group style or chat style is easy, setting text on a schedule, color coding contact, and controlling icons/sounds works great. I like the interface and the controls.

While I'm a fan of this app, I have noticed some things that aren't so user-friendly: 1. When attaching a picture, it will disappear and just show '!' if I don't have something already typed to include with the photo. 2. It would be nice to be able to access the Bible app from textra to send scriptures or Bible plans (iphones have that feature) 3. Group messaging could be improved to be able to remove yourself from a group message or add someone that you forgot initially. Any upcoming plans?

Privacy and no ads so far! I'm a victim of Samsung ending messenger+ app. I didn't want to switch to Google because of their ability to share your data to a high level. I made it priority to find an app that does not share data with third parties unless there is a warrant. Downloaded a few to test and all of them had the most obnoxious ads. Textra says it has in app ads, but so far I have not seen a single one. Beautiful customization, too! It's a total upgrade and thanks for not sharing data!
