Bleeds way too much money. Constantly getting inquiries of cheap people and it already charged me. Getting charged for Leads that aren't the right fit is outrageous. Way too much money, but when the right client does reach out its great. Just seems that if you're not setting your budget to "unlimited" it is very hard to get your ROI. There has to be a better method where we don't have to get charged for EVERY lead. That's like getting charged full price for just looking at an item at a store

I like the idea of this app but I'm just spending too much for connections. it doesn't make sense. I just got charged to decline a job that I am not in state for. I have settings set for any location as I can do work remotely, but this one needed someone in person and I couldn't know that until reading the request - which I got charged for. Not the first time. And not cool. It just makes no sense in the long run.

App functionality is fine, it's the core service that's a problem. Minimum cost for "leads" is $35/week, and conversion rates are terrible because they charge multiple workers for the same lead. Per-lead pricing is random and makes no sense. Thumbtack forces contractors to waste a lot of time and effort responding instantly and quoting jobs instead of doing work that actually pays. I use a lot of different platforms to find work and this has been by far the most parasitic.
