Works as advertised, but AntiVirus flags it as Malware. Was able to connect to Rexing dashcam, use all its functions. However, it was confusing, as the directions (for the dashcam) to connect to my phone were not well written or very explanatory. And, Malwarebytes scans it as malware. All that being said, when you get through the confusing Rexing directions and your phone gets all connected, the App works well.

Does not stay connected. I'm an IT consultant and tried everything I knew to get this to work on my HTC One M9 with Android 7.0. It just does not work. Update 09/11/2019: I was asked by Rexing to give this another chance with a new dashcam they provided at no cost, so I did. After installing the latest version and testing it again, I added another star to my review here because I figured out that if I disable the Mobile Data connection on my phone, the WiFi will actually stay connected for few moments before it disconnects. This is at least an improvement over not being able to connect at all like before. This time, I was able to view some photos in the album and navigate the settings menu, but it would still drop and reconnect every few minutes. Each time I tried to download a recorded video, it would begin the process but then drop the connection before it could complete so I was never able to download any video to my phone. Since this happened on both dashcams, I suspect the app is still having problems with Android 7.0. Another issue I have a problem with is the permissions this app requires. When installing TimaCam, it requests permissions to my location, contacts, and ability to manage my phone and make phone calls. Why would this app need to use my phone to make calls? If you deny it, the install fails. I allowed this only long enough to complete testing, then quickly removed it from my phone and scanned for malware. In my opinion, two stars is still being quite generous.

The pruveeo 2k dual dash cam is a good device. This app that goes with it is trash. Why? Because it has ads. The wifi "hotspot" feature sucks every time you power the dashcam down and you have to manually re-establish a connection (every single time), and it only works while your phone is in wifi mode. So you can't have your phone connected to your cellular network or it disconnects. I even tried this app on a backup phone with no service and the ads still ran.
