Ratings and reviews

Great for the price. The app doesn't allow you to change the temperature units to Fahrenheit, which seems like a pretty simple feature to implement. At the same time, they added a weird editor option called "3D view" that that adds nothing to a thermal camera. If the developers are looking for a cool feature to add, they should consider using the Google cardboard API to make the phone into thermal night vision goggles.

Works great on my Pixel 1st Gen running old Android 9. Setting a fixed temperature range makes finding cold spots in the house much easier (it's under the button at the bottom of the temperature bar). And photos (+ videos) without watermarks are obvious but better than the competition. Only complaint is that the camera overlay does not save position, or auto-align which could be cool, but resolution is usually sufficient to see fine. Way better than the standalone Seek I had previously.

The app has come a long way and TopDon continues to add requested features. The ability to lock the color scale has been HUGE. A few small issues like contrast settings not being saved still remain, but overall I am highly impressed with what they've done. A year ago, this was a barebones app that was pretty disappointing. It has now turned into a professional level tool and I highly recommend the TC001 to anybody looking to add a thermal camera to their toolkit.
