Ratings and reviews

I've had no issues with Chase. It has been excellent for travelling abroad with no charges for currency exchange. This is the first time I've used a banking app with any bank, the app is good. It notifies you of any cash flow, which is excellent. the app can be pretty slow sometimes, but that is my only complaint. The chase card is nice with no details but your name. There's a nice 1% AER on shop transactions for the first year (at the time of this review) which racks up well over the months.

I had an account, was very happy but then closed it as I didn't need it. My circumstances changed, I moved house and wanted to reopen the account but wasn't allowed to. Terrible service there after. Unable to update my address (still showing on app) despite 2 long phone calls and a promise to get back to me by email. Apparently if you once had an account and close it you are never allowed to reopen or apply again. This should be made clearer, as I've never experienced this with any other bank.

it's easy to open all of the accounts available and also have multiple savings accounts. The debit card account was a breeze, ID being held to verify in case anything going wrong is a brilliant idea, and my card arrived within days. Great interest rates for a 'normal ' savers, who want to put an amount away, but still need immediate access.
