This app is loaded with all kinds of glitches and bugs! It won't let me view half of the things I click on, like contributions and my investment portfolio. Every single time it says: "Since you haven't contributed anything, there is nothing to view here". Even though I have been contributing to my employer plan through Vanguard for nearly 4 months now! I even get a notification on my phone, that there is a bug on this app! You can basically look at your overall balance and that's literally it!

This is the absolute worst app I have ever used, and the app issues had major financial consequences for me. The app is a complete nightmare to navigate to basic information. Totally cluttered with ads, it runs so slowly that it is difficult to tell whether user inputs are registering. Payment processes for loans and withdrawals were a total nightmare. Calling customer service is a terrible experience with chat bot responses misdirecting me for five minutes per call. Stay Away from Vanguard!!

Updated: Vanguard has made great strides bringing their app closer to modern standards. However they are still behind the times with a lot of features being website only. additionally, they fall short compared to other competitors with lack of fractional shares and the fact I can only select monthly or quarterly reoccurring deposits with a minimum of $50. Id like to perform weekly at $10 so I might have to explore other options if they dont get with the times.

You can now update your email address directly in the Vanguard app by selecting Edit personal information, then Email in the Profile tab.
