About this app

ZonePoints uses a standard Bluetooth heart rate sensor to translate your hard work from any activity—HIIT, running, gym sessions—into a single, powerful score. Train smarter, and understand the total effort you put into every workout. See your progress with your training points history.

Score heart rate zone points for workouts recorded directly in ZonePoints or imported from Fitbit, Garmin, WHOOP, Oura and other fitness apps via Health Connect. Share your heart rate data with other apps like Strava when you enable the optional Health Connect sync setting.

• No sign-up, no email, no account is needed to start now
• Start monitoring your heart rate and zone with a single tap
• Measure total training effort in Zone Points
• See the time spent in each heart rate training zone
• Workouts count toward your weekly points target
• Compare your past weeks of training
• Import training sessions from other apps via Health Connect

WORKS WITH YOUR FAVORITE APPS
Already training with Fitbit, Strava, Garmin, or another fitness app? ZonePoints connects to Android's Health Connect to import your existing workout sessions and score them automatically. Every run, ride, or gym session you've already recorded can earn Zone Points — no need to change how you train or wear an extra sensor.

HOW ZONE POINTS WORK
Zone Points are calculated based on proven sports science principles. The concept is simple: the deeper you push into your heart rate zones (intensity) and the longer you stay there (duration), the more points you earn.

This means a short, high-intensity workout might earn the same points as a longer, moderate one. It’s the ultimate way to measure your training load and ensure you're pushing hard enough to improve.

Only training time counts so there is no need to start and stop the workout - the app knows when you are warming up, training or resting.

COMPATIBLE & TESTED HEART RATE SENSORS
ZonePoints connects to any chest strap, armband, or watch that uses the standard Bluetooth Heart Rate Profile. You can use your own sensor or find compatible products known to work well within the app.

We have tested ZonePoints to work well with heart rate sensors from the following brands: PowrLabs, Coospo, Moofit, Magene, Garmin, Polar, Scosche, Peloton, Wahoo, and Fitbit Charge 6 using "HR on equipment".

PERSONALIZED FOR YOU
You can easily adjust your Maximum Heart Rate and Resting Heart Rate. The app uses these values to calculate your Heart Rate Reserve, ensuring your training zones and Zone Point scoring are precise for you. It will even monitor your actual values seen during training sessions to suggest appropriate settings.

FLEXIBLE WEEKLY TARGET
Missed a workout? No problem. You can make up the points later in the week – it's the weekly Zone Points total that matters. Research shows that as long as you catch up, you will get similar health benefits as if you spread your exercise consistently during the week. You have until Sunday to complete your weekly target and stay on track!

BUILT FOR DEDICATED TRAINING
ZonePoints is designed to measure cardiovascular effort during focused workouts, not all-day activity. While a casual walk is great for health, it won't earn you ZonePoints. Our system focuses on the high-intensity work that improves your fitness capacity and endurance.

If you mix gym workouts, outdoor activities, and home fitness, ZonePoints is the perfect tool to unify your training measurement.

Ready to train smarter? Download ZonePoints today and start measuring the effort that truly counts!

I love this app! I use it with a COROS HRM armband on a stationary bike. It shows heart rate zones on a color-coded graph, updated in real time. Also saves workouts in history and shows stats like time spent in each heart rate zone. Weekly point system is great motivation. Clean, simple, effective format without useless extra frills. Doesn't ask for a bunch of personal information, email address, monthly subscription, etc. It does one thing and does it exceptionally well.

Thank you Tim! I think you summed up exactly what we were aiming for making this app! I could literally copy-paste this as the app description :)

Works great. It would be better if you can add "Notes" per session
