I was charged an additional "hold" once I got to my hotel to check in. It was an extra $103 on top of the amount I already paid to book my reservation. no information about this being possible. i don't travel much, so if this is standard, I'm completely unaware, and it could have easily been listed. When I went to leave a comment in the follow-up email from Vio, it wouldn't bring up the keyboard to let me leave the information. Poor info, poor app.

It was my first booking and after I had completed all the necessary info, the app stated that pay later was no longer available (even though offered). I thought there might have been a glitch, so I went out of the app and back in, not only was the price more expensive and pay later removed, a different type of room was advertised for the price of what I was originally trying to pay for. I reached out to customer service and it's as if they didn't even read my concerns. There are better platforms

I love the deals and the savings that I find on VIO. I have read some subpar reviews. I have completed 3 bookings and have even had to do a cancellation and all things went off without a hitch. Different sites require different requirements; however, if you read the terms and conditions they are VERY straightforward about what is owed, cancellation dates to get free, partial or no refund, check in and check out times, as well as, amenities offered. I recommend reading.
