thsi app completely failed at replacing checking in on the website. it's buggy, does not let you but your information in manually (you are forced to take a picture of your documents), it takes an unreasonably long time to get anywhere within the app- and! it's the only option you have! i have heard the other apps were just as bad but this is the first I've had to review so low in a long time.

I tried to change my flight's date, I had the flexibility combo which should allow me to change it for free and simply pay the difference in price of the new ticket if it's more expensive. The new date I wanted said $0 to change it, but it simply wouldn't let me and I'd get a box saying I had to communicate via phone which ultimately leads to chatting through Whatsapp. They forced me to pay an extra charge which they never explained. Useless app, useless Volaris. Rats, thieves, liars.

There's always something wrong with the app and the website it's so annoying. It's always crashing, it's always freezing, and there's basically zero customer service, no matter how much I try i can't never reach a real person, and if you reach anyone, it's always the same thing, they can't do anything, they can't do anything and sometimes they say they'll "transfer you" and just hang up the call. Volaris needs to do better.
