SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Waterspeed Pro and Ultra are available as monthly or annual subscriptions. Payment is charged to your account and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Waterspeed uses Health Connect to read the Heart Rate and show it in real-time when using a WearOS device, and then report in your statistics along with the sport performances, speed, and the track on the map.

Ratings and reviews

Very buggy, doesnt show latest speeds in challengers. Doesnt filter out speeds from cars in windsurfing posts. Slow loading even with high speed connection. Extrely frustrating to use. Doubt I'll continue to use after trial period. May 17 2026 A year later and slower to load and more bugs. Even deleted my speeds from a challenge. Can it get any worse?

Enshitification. The app used to give basic info about your session and let you see your map clearly, while more advanced info is what you can pay for. Now when opening a session, a text box saying "go beyond the basics" blocks you from looking at just the map. It's extra obnoxious since you don't even get the basics anymore.

No data. I loaded app, linked it to my Garmin account, and it says "all data downloaded", but shows no sailing, though I record every sail on my watch and can see them in Garmin Connect.

Improved tack and jibe recognition, with added support for manual annotation of detected maneuvers.
