Ratings and reviews

Used to work great before it was acquired by Google. Now it rarely redirects for traffic. Still useful for knowing traffic hazards, like cops, speed traps, cars on the side of the road, etc, but not a peep about traffic. That's in the NAME of the app, you would think that would make a difference. Update: not much has changed, but now the update rate is slow and I constantly miss turns and go in circles and have to switch to Google Maps to get to a place I've never been before.

Edit to review: Bugs have been fixed. It's much easier to use. Still a little issue here and there, but all and all, it is a reliable app. After the update, it's useless on Android. 90% of the time, it says "no network connection" when I put in directions. And when I leave it as a map, it goes nuts and resets itself.

I used to get voice alerts for police, hazard, etc. Since the last update, I am now getting a "pinging" sound. At first I thought it was my car and I freaked out. Then the next alert pinged again. It's so annoying. Go back to voice alerts!! I would give this 5 stats because I love Waze, but I am upset at them getting rid of the voice alerts. A lot of people are complaining about it. I hope they change it back. Sometimes when I playing music, I can't hear the alert.
