The app itself is fine. it's annoying that Wegmans has multiple apps and they don't share any kind of connection to each other, so multiple logins are required. the navigation is slightly annoying when ordering food. for example, when ordering a sub, I can click on the right side of my screen for most options. however, when I choose my ingredients, I have to use the left side of the screen, which makes ordering more difficult while finishing a run or on the move.

First time impressions are really good. I was able to specify a time for pickup and everything went very smoothly. One suggestion would be to add the option for sandwhich combos. It's usually my go to when i get food from Wegmans. Also a way for me to confirm i picked up my meal. It can literally just be a button saying the food was picked up. Paying through the app, it just feels awkward grabbing a bag and leaving without mich interaction.

Thus app was not ready to be launched when it was! The bugs in it, frequent way too many times for them to have authorized launch instead of doing more testing! The delivery times take way too long to load up to make a selection (20 minutes at the least) and ive attempted on 2 different devices (ios and android) and on different types of internet (mobile data and wifi) to no avail.

What’s new

Placing a carryout order for someone else to pick up? You can now enter the pickup person's name during Checkout, and the order will be labeled with that person's name in store!

We also fixed an issue that impacted opening the app via certain QR codes, as well as other enhancements.
